Strategic Demolition & Responsible Waste Management With access limited to a narrow alley, equipment selection was critical. We utilized a compact yet powerful Yanmar mini excavator and a Kubota skid steer to efficiently navigate the space. The pool, made of 10-inch-thick, heavily reinforced concrete, required four days of precision demolition. Using a breaker attachment, we systematically broke apart the structure, cutting and removing all rebar to meet strict backfill regulations. Instead of hauling away the debris, we crushed the concrete on-site for reuse—an environmentally friendly and cost-effective approach approved by a geotechnical engineer. Erosion Control & Compliance We take environmental responsibility seriously. To prevent sediment runoff, we installed an orange silt fence around the site, ensuring compliance with erosion control guidelines. Throughout the project, we maintained strict adherence to environmental best practices, reinforcing our commitment to sustainable operations. Precision Backfilling & Expert Grading After demolition, we imported 100 cubic yards of fill soil, strategically compacting it in lifts to achieve proper density and stability. Our experienced operators used a laser-guided system to ensure precise grading, creating a level yard that meets both structural and aesthetic standards. Final Touches & Lasting Results Despite winter weather challenges, we completed the project in just nine days—faster than expected. We finished by applying topsoil and seeding the area, setting the stage for a lush, green lawn by summer.
