This one started with close to four acres of open rural land outside Monroe. The owner wanted a custom home that fit the property, its size, privacy, and views, without tearing up what made the land worth building on. It was mostly grass and natural terrain with almost nothing on it, so the whole site had to be made buildable first. We cleared the sod and got to work turning raw acreage into a stable site, keeping the surrounding landscape intact and staying inside county requirements the whole way.

We dug a five-foot crawl space for the house and set the building pad to the elevation the design called for, which on ground like this takes real care to get right. The driveway was long, so we graded it for access and drainage and made sure water moved the way it should across the property. Then came the underground: footing drains, more than 700 feet of electrical trenching, water, sewer, and storm lines, storm infiltration trenches, roof drains, and subgrade prep for the hardscapes. The job ran between $100k and $150k and took about two months, finishing in 2026 with the property graded, drained, and ready for the builder.
